Can You Write an Essay That Describes This French Writers Nonfiction Work?

Can You Write an Essay That Describes This French Writer's Nonfiction Work? The Paris Review has recently published an essay by this French writer, David Ehrlich titled 'Who Are We?' which is all about the diversity of writing style and how one might write a long essay. So, what was the first piece he wrote? He claims that it was a four-page piece for an English-language class he was taking in college. It was about this French writer, Gérard de Nerval, who he claims was a 'black'Negro' writer in the United States. His argument is that if someone who is a black writer takes on a white author like De Nerval they are suddenly called a black author or a black writer even if they were not originally black in the United States. Thus, all the essays written by a black writer have to be called essays on black writing. In fact, because many writers from other countries write essays on U.S. culture, these essays get tagged as writing on U.S. culture. Further, the essays are supposed to be publis hed as essays on American culture. His argument is that the reason why so many essays on U.S. culture get published as essays on American culture is because of the inherently social, political and economic nature of essays: They were created by people in the society, it was the societal norms and expectations that caused them to create them and it was society's attempt to create the best possible mode of communication. Thus, if there is no societal impact, then why is it so hard to accept that essays can be essays on American culture?Does this make any sense to you? While one may be able to get away with some alliteration when writing a memoir or a piece of fiction, a writing essay becomes a different story and the essay become an entirely different medium from which one must write in.But it does make more sense to me that not only must one understand what is going on, but also why it is going on and why they must keep the essay's content consistent. This is the approach I take with my own writing; It is an 'essay on social psychology,' not just another length piece.Yes, I am aware that some of my articles are lengthy, but I don't use too many alliterations, I don't use too many complicated word combinations and I try to keep it consistent and readable. I also try to relate the message to what I am trying to say in the essay by using a variety of different forms of expression. In the end, my goal is to tell the reader the essence of the essay in its entirety. I choose to communicate information rather than sound soothing. And while a lot of my essays are long, they are short pieces which contain plenty of information but are not overly dense or written in a literary style that has an effect on a reader's emotional state.
